Ingredients
- 150 grams all-purpose flour (or 1 cup)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspons matcha powder
- 0.5 cup melted butter
- 0.5 cup maple syrup
- 1 large egg
- white chocolate chunks, baking grade (few pieces per muffin)
Method
- Preheat the oven to 190 degrees
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt and matcha
- In a separate bowl whisk together the maple syrup, butter and egg
- Pour the dry ingrediests into the wet ones and mix by hand until combined. Don’t overdo it, just long enough to combine all together
- Pour the batter in six muffin cups, bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Optional: if you plan to use white chocolate, place about a tablespoon of the batter into the liners, then add desinred amount of chocolate and pour the rest. This way it will remain inside rather than sticking to the liner
